Face painting + balloons in one booking.

The combo that solves the queue problem at any party over 15 kids. Two artists running in parallel — paint and balloons — so nobody waits too long.

Why combine them

At a party with 20 kids, a single face painter takes the whole booking window to get through everyone — the last kid waits 90+ minutes for their face. Adding a balloon twister running in parallel changes the math:

  • Younger kids and the impatient queue at the balloon table — 60-second wait, instant gratification.
  • Older kids and patient siblings stay at the face-painting table for the longer, more detailed designs.
  • Everyone ends up with a take-home (the balloon sculpt) plus a photo-worthy face design.
  • Nobody asks "when is it my turn" because two things are always happening.

What you get in the combo

  • One face painter (paints, brushes, water, table, design book)
  • One balloon artist (260Q balloons in standard colours, pump, design book)
  • Coordinated setup — both artists in the same area or split across two stations as fits your venue
  • Themed colour matching on request (princess, superhero, jungle, etc.)
  • Setup 30 minutes before; pack-down 15 minutes after

Pricing

A face-painting-plus-balloons combo is priced as two services in one booking. Where a single painter offers both, it usually works out a little cheaper than booking them separately, with the bonus of one contact and one arrival. Each painter sets their own package rates — check their profile. See the cost guide for example bookings by event size.

Themed combos

For themed parties (princess, superhero, jungle, unicorn, pirate, dinosaur), the painter and the balloon artist coordinate colours and motifs. Themed parties page has the full theme catalogue.

Frequently asked questions

Is the combo cheaper than booking them separately?

Slightly — we share travel and setup time across the two artists, which saves about 10% versus two stand-alone bookings. The real saving is in scheduling: one booking, one contact, one arrival.

Does one person do both, or are there two artists?

For parties under 15 kids, sometimes one artist switches between activities (paint a child, twist a balloon for them, next child). For 15+ kids, two artists running in parallel give far better throughput. Ask the painter how they prefer to run it.

What balloons are used?

High-quality 260Q twisting balloons (Qualatex or equivalent) in any standard colour. For themed parties, most twisters bring matched colour packs — pink/gold for princess, red/blue/yellow for superhero, etc.

Can the painter sculpt balloons in costume?

Yes — princess, fairy, clown, pirate or superhero costumes available for the balloon side too. Mention the theme when booking.

How long is the standard booking?

Two hours minimum, which lines up nicely with kid-party arc: arrive at 14:00 → activities 14:30–16:30 → cake and pack-down.
